Review of Forestry and Wildlife Policies, Laws and the Development of Policy Recommendations and Legislative Proposals

In 2008, the Forestry Commission (F.C.) engaged Law and Development Associates (then Atuguba and Associates) to provide consultancy services for the review of Ghana’s forestry and wildlife policies and laws; and for the development of policy recommendations and legislative proposals. This project was designed to address several deficiencies that prevailed within the forestry and wildlife sector. LADA conceptualised a project and was engaged to assist in the implementation of a multi-donor assisted programme known as the Natural Resources Management Programme (NRMP).
