
Dr. Acheampong is a legal expert who has worked on various projects in West Africa. He has consulted for governments in The Gambia, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, as well as international organizations like the World Bank and the UN. His projects have focused on areas like constitutional governance, health reforms, law and policy advocacy, energy, justice sector reform, and rights-based development.
His work has involved reviewing existing laws and policies, identifying gaps, and comparing them to international standards. He has helped draft new laws and policies, ensuring they align with stakeholder feedback. He has also assisted governments in implementing these reforms.
Dr. Acheampong holds an SJD and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, where he specialized in Law and Development, and Advanced Administrative Law and State Bureaucracy.
