OUR WORK
LADA is reputed for delivering on a number of consulting assignments on the continent. Many of these engagements have included in-depth legislative audits, policy and legal reforms, several multifaceted surveys, consultations, and institutional design.
The process of executing these assignments have involved lots of background research on the specific thematic or subject area; many meetings, interviews, and technical presentations to government officials (from the presidency, through ministers of state, to technical operatives); committees and members of parliament; development partners; civil society organisations; and ordinary citizens.
All of these have provided LADA with an updated, recent, and deep knowledge of the political economy, legislative infrastructure, drivers of change, development risk factors, and innovative development pathways for African countries. This knowledge is indispensable for any effort at changing the intractable development issues in the sub-Saharan Africa.
